PILBEAM posted by Sue Pilbeam on Sunday, December 4, 2011

I have discovered that the Rev. Henry PILBEAM is distantly related to my family. I wonder if anyone has any further information on him. His parents come from Sussex in England. I also know that he had 13 other brothers and sisters most of whom were born in the U.S.A. I can provide all the names along with the dates of birth that I have found so far. Thanks. The Pilbeam family

MCBROOM, MILLS, THARP posted by Kirk Hall on Sunday, January 29, 2012

MILLS, THARP, MCBROOM

Interested in any information on Julia Ann ? MILLS MCBROOM THARP. She was in the 1860 Census in Canton Twp married to William MILLS, then a Potter by trade. In 1870 they were in Canton Twp with several children including Emma, Henry, Willard etc..

She was a widow in 1879 living in Benton Twp. and was married briefly to Isaac McBroom, who was much older and passed away soon after. She then married David Tharp in about 1879 or 1880 in Benton County.

Would like to know her maiden name (prior to marrying MILLS (probably married in Linn County when marrying William MILLS). Also interested in where she is buried, and interested in any information on her MILLS children, and any information on David THARP.

MEYER, PETERSEN, STONE posted by Kayce Smith on Friday, February 10, 2012

I'm looking for information on my Great Great Grandmother Martha Marie PETERSEN. Martha was born 8/16/1892 in Benton, Iowa. Martha Married Arthur STONE on 10/21/1908 in Benton, Iowa. I was informed by my grandfather that the two divorced, and Martha left Arthur and their two children Leola and Dolores to travel with a band. Rumor has it that Martha was murdered in Texas; however, their is no proof of exactly what happened to her. Martha was the child on Henry PETERSEN & Rebecca MEYER.
