WATTERMAN, WATTERMANN posted by Will B. Waterman on Tuesday, December 22, 1998

My father's name is William Carl WATTERMANN, lived most of his life in Holt County, NE where I was born. His father, also William WATTERMANN, lived in Cumming County, NE until he died on 4/11/1907 at near a small community Bancroft, NE. Henry WATTERMAN, father of William was born 12/7/1853, reportedly somewhere in New York. He then returned to Germany with his parents, returned to the US at age 15, settled in Benton County, Iowa for another fifteen years then moved to Nebraska. We believe that he was living in Iowa when his son William was born 3/13/1877. Anything you can give us will be most appreciated.
