Seeking info for Edward GAVIN (b. 1858) and Josephine PAUSTIAN (b. 1860). Married 1879 in Marshall County, Iowa. Lived in the Belle Plaine area at least from 1885-1890. Edward Gavin may have worked for the railroad. Hoping to find a parent or sibling connection to other Gavins in the Belle Plaine area.

BUCKLIN, David Scott or possibly David S or even just Scott. 1930 census in Vinton, Benton, Iowa as Scott Bucklin working at a restaurant. He is divorced. Ex-wife died in 1955 in Linn Co., Iowa. I have a hint of his death being in 1950 but would like proof. Obituary? He is not listed on Linn Co. death list. Thank you for any info.

I am looking for information on Kate SWARTZ who had at least 2 children with Elias SODEN in Benton County Iowa between 1882 and 1885. Kate SWARTZ and Elias SODEN were both born in Ohio about 1856. I am looking to see is she passed and when. I do not ever find her listed anywhere. Elias SODEN is listed in the 1885 Jackson Benton County Iowa census with his parents as a married person. There was no information on wife or children. Cora Belle SODEN is listed in the 1895 Ruthvan,Palo Alto, Iowa census with Elias SODEN's parents. Elias SODEN remarried in 1890's to a Margret STROSSNIDER. Only the daughter born in 1885, Cora Belle SODEN survived, she was my great grandmother. I have informtion on the SODEN family. I have just found the birth record for Cora online that named her mother.

Looking for information on Nathaniel Eaton RUSSELL and his wife, Harriet HOWARD. Nathaniel died in 1895 in Garrison, Iowa, and Harriet died in 1893 in Garrison, Iowa, also. I know they had at least nine daughters. I would like to find out more about them and where they are buried. Any help would be appreciated.

I would like a photocopy of a newspaper article from the local newspaper in Benton County, Iowa in 1862.The wedding took place on February 20, 1862, the brides name Dorothy Jane LOWE. The groom was John Charles (J.C., Charley)LEMONS,LEMAN, etc. Dorothy and her parents were living in Taylor township at the time of the marriage.
