KASTNER/PETERSEN GER>Belle Plaine 1869 I am looking for any information on my ggrandparents, Anna KASTNER PETERSEN (b 26 Aug 1840 in Angeln, S-H, Germany) who emigrated in 1869 to Belle Plaine, and Christian PETERSEN (b.12 May 1835 in S-H, Germany). They met and married in or near Belle Plaine and moved in 1878 to Monroe township in Tama County.

MILLER,Nathan was born September 17, 1824 in Rockbridge Co. VA. He died September 01, 1895 in Benton, IA. He was married to Sarah Margaret SHAFFER, who was also born in VA. They had at least one son by the name of Erskine Mackelwe MILLER, who married Sarah Jane HATCH from Mount Ayr, Iowa. This is the only information that I have been able to retrieve on my GGGGrand Father Nathan Miller, any information would be very helpful. Thank You

Eden Iowa Cemetery (There are two such cemeteries Looking for burial information for Eden Cemetery in Benton County, IA. I walked it in 1986 but I assume there are more burials than there are headstones. Who has an index to burials? Is there a 19th century register of internments? I am interested in INMAN and BOGLE families. Orsin Bogle died 1856 is probably buried here. Roger Green 1568 Athis New Orleans, LA 70122-2030.

Our family homesteaded land in Canton township, Benton Co. Iowa 1853 or before,I have recieved a map showing where it is and etc. they first came to that county in 1853 from Iowa, I belive stayed just a few months and moved to Clinton, Iowa. According to family records. a James CRANSTON died while they were there, and the family buried him in Wild Cat Grove ,Benton Co, Iowa. Can you help me find that place???

PRYOR, John and Kate Parents of Bertha PRYOR HICKMAN who died in 1905-1906. Married to Edward J. HICKMAN. Son is Thornton Edward HICKMAN. John PRYOR may be related to Thomas PRYOR (Born 1832, Died 6/8/1874), who is buried in the Evergreen cemetary in Vinton, Iowa. Thomas was married to Martha HARDING. They are the parents of Cora L. PRYOR NOBLE. She was married to Charles Geddes NOBLE. They adopted Thornton Edward HICKMAN after Bertha PRYOR died. Would like any info on any of the above individuals.

He had 7 brothers: Samuel C. ; Harley S; William W.; George E.; Nathan C.; Harry E.; and a sister, Margaretta May Ransom b Lanark 21 Nov 1880 Also interested in death dates of parents and any of the above, etc. as well as their descendants. D. L. CRAWFORD, I would like to determine if he was buried in Benton County, maybe Jackson Township area, after 1860. D. L. Crawford was enumerated with son and family in the 1860 Census Jackson Township, age 58. Son; Samuel A. Crawford, spouse Mary Hull Crawford and one daughter, Emma. Samuel was wounded and died in the Civil War, 1863, burial places of Samuel and wife Mary also unknown.

My Ggrandmother Ella (Ellen) GIBSON was b 1874 in Iowa to Martha ELLIS GIBSON and John GIBSON. She later married in Chadron, NE to Edward Thomas ONEIL, 1895. Family history suggests Native American Heritage - I am at a loss. Thanks for any information. Also, COFFEE appears in connection to Ella. Another marriage before O'NEIL?
