They had 2 son's Evert b. 1882 and Adelbert b.1884. About 1886 Frank vanished without a trace leaving his wife and 2 small son's in Cherokee Co. Iowa. I have been unable to find any further information on Frank, his parents or siblings. If you have a connection or information please contact me. I am posting on this site because there were HOLLENBECK's in Benton county that may be connected. Thank you.

Looking for the Elijah and Lucy ARROHOVE (ARROWHOOD) family. They are in the 1850 census in Benton, but in the 1860 census Elijah is missing. Lucy (ARIHOOD) is still there, but is gone by 1870. Did they die in Benton county? If so, when and where? Also, the DAUGHERTY, DOCKERTY children living with them, where did they go? Is this the Lucy (DAUGHERTY) ARROWWOOD from Coles county, Illinois?

HAYWARD/HAYWOOD. Seeking information on the Abijah Hayward/Haywood Family. Abijah (widowed) is believed to be living with his son Horace in 1856 in Benton County, Iowa. In 1860 Abijah was living in Polk Township, Benton County, Iowa with his daughter Eliza and her husband Lewis Berry. In 1870 Abijah was still living with her in Benton Township, Benton County, Iowa. He can not be located after that. Abijah was born in New Jersey about 1794. Does anyone have information on who his parents were? His wife's first name was Naomi, but what was her maiden name? They had three known children: Ephraim, Horace, and Eliza? Were there more children? Did Abijah die in Benton County? Any help would be appreciated.

WILSON I am looking for the death date and burial site of Nancy, wife of William Riley WILSON. She was born c. 1832 in Ontario, and died between 1870 and 1880 in Canton Twp., Benton Co., IA. Perhaps the Oakwood cemetery, west of Shellsburg, would have been the closest to their farm. Her husband and some of their family returned to Ontario, but some young children may also be buried in Nancy's plot. It would be most appreciated if someone could check cemetery listings for Canton Twp.

They were among the oldest settlers of Canton township and lived in Shelbyville. Thanks for any help you can give me.
