I am looking for decendents of Jeremiah and Ruth DEARTH. Jeremiah was born 1834 Guernsey Co, Oh and came with his father Thomas DEARTH and his brother George Washington DEARTH to Benton Co in the mid 1850's. Thomas DEARTH died Nov 22, 1860 in Blackhawk Co and is buried at Westview Cemetery near Laporte City, IA. Jeremiah and Ruth DEARTH remained in Benton Co and had a son named Jackson DEARTH born 1863. Jeremiah was a civil war veteran from Benton Co having served in the 13th Regiment Iowa Infantry, Co "G". In 1883 he was living at Mt Auburn, Benton Co. Looking for parents of Swan, Elof, and Otto ROSEBERG. Swan came to Vinton, Benton Co.,Iowa from Sweden in 1907. When he arrived he changed the family name from ANDERSON to ROSEBERG. He had a Greenhouse in Vinton for years. He is buried in the ROSEBERG Family Cemetery in Vinton. He went by ROSEBERG all the years in Iowa, when he died he has Swan ANDERSSON put on his stone. MCKEE - BROWNELL - SMIRCH - VAMACHKA Looking for information on all four names. James McKee (b. 1853) and Emma Brownell McKee (b. 1853) were married (1871) in PA and settled in Belle Plaine, Iowa. They had 3 sons, Robert (b. 1877), William (b. 1882) and George (b. 1876). Robert James married Anna Smirch Vamachka and they had 3 sons, Robert, Arnold and Walter James (b. 1918) My ggrandfather James was a farmer. My grandfather Robert had several jobs including Chief of Police and farmer. Grandmother Anna came from Chezklosvakia when she was around 4-years old. Would appreciate any help you can give.

Looking to confirm residence and burial for George Henry GARR and wife, Alta GARR. George born April 7, 1874 in Iowa and most of his siblings lived in Appanoose Co. In 1900 Census, George was living in Marshall Co. A relative recalls that he died (date unknown) in Belle Plaine. George and wife, Alta, and two sons, one of whom was named Earl GARR.
