STRILEY (poss: STREULI) Lydia A. Striley (WHITE) died on April 15, 1924. According to the obituary, she was to be buried in Belle Plaine, Iowa, but it did not list the name of the cemetery. Until a few weeks ago, we did not know who this woman, my g-g-grandmother was. Henry Striley (dates unknown, but believed he passed away in or near 1904) may be buried with her, but we have no obits or dates. Nearest descendent (my grandfather) is in a nursing home and not doing well (88 years old). We are hoping to find Henry and Lydia Striley's burial sites in Belle Plaine so that we can perhaps take my grandfather there before he passes away. Any help would be Very much appreciated. DELANEY, 1896-?, IA>MT>ND>CA>MT Searching for information on Eddie (Jack) DELANEY born 1896 in Garrison, Benton Co., Iowa. Parents were James Edward (Edward/James C.?) DELANEY and Lottie QUIGLEY (Mary L.?). Eddie may have had a stepmother named Eva Florence MAY, born 1898 in Belle Plaine, Iowa, and halfbrothers, Lester MAY and Leo Cedrick. On 4 Aug 1943 Eddie married Elouise Grace LABREE in Scobey, MT. They had the following children: Gail Dean, Richard Eddie, and Sally Ione. Any information would certainly be appreciated. Thank you.

My ggmother Johanna/Hannah KINNEY and her sister Catherine KINNEY moved to Iowa from New York between 1868-1870. Catherine KINNEY married William HANDLEY, their daughter Mary Agnes was born in Blairstown in July 1873. Will appreciate knowing name/address of Catholic parish serving the Blairstown/Benton Co. area in early 1870s and where County records of 1870-1880 birth are maintained.

Pyous JOHNSON, Jr.b1851 IL, married Alice Julia MCCOY bKS 1864. They lived Eldorado Twp., Benton Co., IA in 1885 and 1895 -- then in Eden Twp., Benton Co. in 1900. Any help will be appreciated.

STRILEY Looking for Lydia and Henry Striley. According to the only available obituary (Lydia's), they are (or at least she is) buried in Belle Plaine. We have not been able to locate Henry's obit, but we think he might have died in Belle Plaine. Lydia passed away on April 15, 1924. I would be more than willing to return the favor for Clinton County research. Would love to find out death dates and burial location on the above. Will even pay for a polaroid or two of the grave sites. Desperately seeking these two individuals.

GEORGE, Egbert C. born Sept 22, 1843 in Essex County NY and died March 17, 1928. Egbert was a member of the Union Army and lived in Benton, Iowa after the civil war. His wife's name was Florence and I believe she was alive into to early 1940's.

Peter TROUTMAN was in Benton County, Eldorado Township, in 1860 according to the 1860 Census. Luther TROUTMAN, who arrived about 1866 in Iowa, married Adella J. JAMESON. I am looking for information on the GEORGE family, specifically: 1. Egbert C. GEORGE, born 22 Sep 1843 in Jay, NY, died 17 Mar 1928 in Marshalltown, IA. He lived in Vinton, IA from 1870 until shortly before his death. 2. Florence Gale GEORGE, born ?, died 18 May 1943 in Vinton, IA. Married Egbert 05 Jan 1876 in Benton County. 2. A brother Henry W. George, born 20 Feb, 1839 in Jay, NY and died 22 Apr 1916 in Nestor, CA. Married Caroline Bigler in Vinton, IA, 10 Mar, 1872. May have lived in Benton County from 1870 to 1880 when they moved to Kansas. A son Hubert A. GEORGE was born in Benton County in 04 Jan, 1873. 3. Also any information on Isaac Oswin GEORGE, born 1820 in Jay, NY and his wife Harriet L., born approximately 1821 in NY. Isaac and Harriet may have followed their son's to Benton County around 1870.
