BAUMGARDNER, BLASS, GOTTHARDT, HIX, KAISER, KESSLER, RUETZEL posted by Helen Kessler Stalnaker on Friday, October 14, 2005

My name is Helen Kessler Stalnaker. I am doing some genealogy on my father's side Kessler. I was looking for Anna Barbara KESSLER KAISER and I found the announcement for the KAISER Reuion that the Benton county site had for July 31st.
My great grandfather Henry KESSLER was Anna Barbara's sister. Henry Kessler's father was Conrad KESSLER born in October 29, 1809 died May 7, 1911and was married to Margaret BAUMGARDNER who was born March 17, 1811 and died in February or April 1861. I don't know if these are correct dates. The children were Anna Barbara, Hartman, Henry, Margaret, Veronica, George and Daniel. Henry married Elizabeth RUETZEL and moved to Sac Co, IA where I was born. If anybody is interested on the Henry line, I could help.
Anna Barbara married Conrad KAISER. Hartman married Gertrude HIX. George ?. Margaret married George BLASS. Veronica married Herman HIX. Daniel married Emma GOTTHARDT.
Was Conrad KESSLER buried in Fairview Cemetery, Bruce Township, Benton Co, IA?
I would appreciate any information or direction on Conrad KESSLER and his children. Thank you.
