November 2, 2010 - Lynn McCleary stepped in to become the new county coordinator for Cedar Co. IAGenWeb, keeping the good memories of Connie in mind.

October 25, 2010 - With heavy hearts we learned that Connie Street, Coordinator of this IAGenWeb site, passed away. She will be deeply missed. Her obituary may be viewed on the Cedar Co. Obituary Board.

March 2010 - A map of Cedar County including townships has been added. Locations of rural schools has been added as well as 1886 Cedar Co. Marriages.

November 2009 - Confederate Soldiers have been added to the Civil War Soldiers Buried in Cedar County page.

September 2009 –Names have been added to Civil War Soldiers Buried in Cedar County. Listing of Civil War soldiers that are on the monument in front of the Public library at Tipton have been added. Links to the 1838and 1852 state censuses .

Jan. 2, 2009 - Connie Street was named County Coordinator. We have added several resources and lookup volunteers. Check them out! The 1869 and 1873 marriages have been added. Cemetery information is being updated as well as many additions to the Gravestone Photo Project. Original Entries are now available. 1918 World War I soldiers are now listed.
