This is a quote from the newspaper article: "The harvest of the Grim Reaper during 1911 in the city of Muscatine was lighter than for any year in almost a score of years. For this Muscatine is thankful and the New Year, it is the wish of everyone, will bring the angel of death to but a small number of homes. The health of the city was better during the past twelve months than for many years. Not a single epidemic was reported and but few deaths occurred as a result of contagious ills."
