The courthouse offers a probate search service for $6.00; copies are $1.00 per page, $6.00 minimum. As with all fees, you should call or write to verify that the fees have not changed. For other searches, unless exact names and dates are known, it is not possible for courthouse staff to answer requests by mail. However, if you can visit the courthouse personally, all of the above records are readily available to you. The staff in the Recorder's Office is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The courthouse is located in the middle of the square in Sigourney.
