Query:
Willis and Polly are my great great grandparents. I follow them to Page County from Missouri in the 1850 Census. Willis is a farmer with 3 children, Polly (Bailey) Philips is listed at that time. By 1860 she is no longer listed and there are 5 children, David being the youngest. Susannah is my great grandmother and she marries Garmore Black in Page County on Sept. 15, 1864. Then W. Jefferson and Polly disappear. Have they died? Moved on? That’s what I am looking for. Burial, Civil War. Just something to know what happened to them. Thanks, Susie Baldwin - baldwin541@charter.net [Sep 2016]
