I have a digitized copy of the birth certificate from Mercy Hospital but am not sure how to get it into this system. It won't let me copy and past it into the message.
Mercy Hospital, Iowa City, Iowa is printed at the top. Then in handwritten script says:
Jane Frances but the Jane is crossed out and Ruth written in.
Born: January 5,1934 Mercy Hospital
Baptized: February 5, 1934 Mercy Hospital,Iowa City
Then the sponsors and minister names are handwritten. Maybe some of these names on it will provide clues?
Sponsors:James Meade and Miss Olive Meade
Minister: Rev. M.J.Diamond (I think or something close to that)
It does have a raised stamp on it
