I am glad someone followed up on this question of records and actually got a response from the FHC microfilm people. I want to suggest, however, that the 2 year figure given sounds like it applies to when the new /microfilm/ will be catalogued, duplicated and available at local family history centers. The time frame for when the actual paper records are returned intact to their custodians will surely be much shorter. It is important to ask the right question... not when will 'these microfilmed records' be available, but 'when will the originals be returned'.

Can anyone help clarify this further?
