Melvin L. MacKay was born May 23, 1920 to Hope Mona Milton. He was adopted by Philip J. and Arba Stauffer MacKay. He died Jan. 14, 1943/FOD Jan. 14. 1944 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, East Coast Memorial, New York City, NY and has a cenotaph in Union Cemetery, Remsen, IA.

Sgt. MacKay served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps as part of the crew aboard a B-17 Flying Fortress which became missing on a flight from Florida to Trinidad.

Edmund John Marzec was born Sept. 28, 1912 to Jozef F. P. and Julia Anna Kula Marzec. He died Jan. 15, 1965 and is buried in Elgin City Cemetery, Elgin, TX. 

Maj. Marzec served in World War II with the U.S. Army Sanitary Corps. He was awarded the Bronze Star.

Roy Dennis McCarthy was born June 10, 1923 to Dennis J. and Hazel M. Gray McCarthy. He died Dec. 6, 1992 and is buried in Silver Lake Cemetery, Portage, WI.

Sgt. McCarthy served in World War II with the U.S. Army.

Francis J. Miller was born June 1, 1919 to John and Margaret Russell Miller. He died Jan. 1, 2000. Francis served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

James Russell Montagne was born Mar. 8, 1915 to Francis J. and Martha Elizabeth McClellan Montagne. He died Jan. 31, 1943 and is buried in National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Sgt. Montagne served in World War II with the U.S. Army Infantry.
