Kingsley, Iowa – Lieut. K. E. Metcalf, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Metcalf of Kingsley is taking training at Harvard University, Cambridge, Mass., following which he will be assigned for duty as an army chaplain. A graduate of Morningside College and the Boston University School of theology, Lieut. Metcalf has been pastor of the Methodist churches at Archer and Baker, Iowa, the last two years.

Kenneth Edward Metcalf was born Mar. 8, 1916 to M. L. and Jessie M. Luse Metcalf. He died May 20, 1991 and is buried in Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL.
