ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT

Our ancestors were as eager to have access to culture and entertainment as we are today. They had entertainment with family and friends such as taffy pulls, quilting bees, musical evenings, etc. There were also public events such as plays at the Touet Opera House, spelling bees, and the circus.
