Among new improvements; K T Hotchkiss is building a new 2 story house on his farm. Mr Gibson is putting a 2 story barn on his place; Mr Lloyd's house is near done at Stiles. Mr Bennett is building a new house farther south of there. -Gardinier and Childers, Contractors for excavating the foundation of the Public School Building, finished. Size of Excavation is 58 x 78 With 2 wings 14 x 28 each. The depth being 4 foot. Amount of earth removed, 786 yards & 10 Feet.
