     An accident occurred to a North Missouri freight train, last Wednesday, near West Grove. Seventeen cars were ditched. No on was seriously hurt.

     Mr David Jennings, who is an old resident of this county, left last week for California, where he will be engaged in farming. He will be remembered as having lived near Belknap.

     Died.- On Thursday, 19th inst., in Perry Township, 31/2 miles NE of Bloomfield, Anderson Lambert, aged about Sixty years. Also Saturday, the 21st, at the same place, a daughter (Louise) of the above, about Twenty one years.

     Died.- On Friday, March 20, 1874 of Puerperal Fever, Mrs Wathan, aged about Twenty one years. The deceased was a new comer in our county. Resided with her husband on the farm of Mr Columbus Saunders, 31/2 miles South East of Town.
