Martha E. McCARTNEY was born in Clarke County, Iowa in 1858, the daughter of Andrew J. and Sarah Elizabeth (BURKETT) McCARTNEY. She was the wife of George Wesley VOGAN. Martha died in 1897, Ringgold County, Iowa, and was interred at Maple Row Cemetery, Kellerton, Iowa.

1) Sarah Vienna VOGAN, oldest child of George Wesley and Martha E. (McCARTNEY) VOGAN, was born in Kellerton, Ringgold County, Iowa, on February 21, 1881. Sarah married John Solomon MOSBARGER on February 22, 1901, Kellerton, Ringgold County, Iowa. Sarah and John were the parents of Mildred Elizabeth (MOSBARGER) DAVENPORT (1902-1998). Sarah Vienna (VOGAN) MOSBARGER died May 31, 1962, Leon, Decatur County, Iowa. John Solomon MOSBARGER was born on October 18, 1879 in Harrison County, Missouri, the son of John W. and Eliza Melissa (WILLEY) MOSBARGER, and died on July 7, 1963, Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa. Sarah and John were interred at Maple Row Cemetery, Kellerton, Ringgold County, Iowa.

2) Addie May VOGAN, the daughter of George Wesley and Martha E. (McCARTNEY) VOGAN, was born September 28, 1885, in Kellerton, Ringgold County, Iowa, and died May 2, 1911, Lamoni, Decatur County, Iowa. Addie married December 20, 1908 to Isaac James ZIMMERMAN (1880-1924).

  3) Ola Edward VOGAN, born January 28, 1887. Ola Edward VOGAN died young and was interred at Maple Row Cemetery, Kellerton, Ringgold County, Iowa.

 4) Guy Otis VOGAN, son of George Wesley and Martha E. (McCARTNEY), was born in Ringgold County, Iowa on October 19, 1891. He died on January 20, 1914, Ringgold County, and was interred at Maple Row Cemetery at Kellerton.

 5) Flora Belle Vogan, the daughter of George Wesley and Martha E. (McCARTNEY), was born in Kellerton, Iowa, on March 23, 1896, and died in March of 1969 with interment at Maple Row Cemetery, Kellerton, Iowa. Flora remained single.
