James Wood IRELAND born 07/06/1807/1808 Harrison Co., WV was the son of William IRELAND and Elizabeth WOOD.

Wm.married 05/01/1806 in Harrison Co., WV. Elizabeth died 1815 in Coshocton Co., OH.
William remarried to Catherine LEE. Wm. died 04/16/1836 in Barthlemew Co., IN.

Wm. was the son of Jonathon IRELAND and Elizabeth RICE. They married 06/23/1783 in Frederick Co., MD. Johnathon died in 1797 in Harrison Co., WV. Elizabeth remarried to Mr. Wolf.

Family lore says Jonathon (and brother Alexander) were the sons of a William IRELAND.
I do not know of any proof of this.
