I, too, have been searching for the burial site of James Wood Ireland (d. 19 April 1877 in Seward County, NE). I am also searching the burial site for his widow, Maria Mansfield Lucas Ireland (d. 26 February 1894 at Olin, Iowa). I assume they would have been buried at the same place, but this is purely an assumption.
To the best of my knowledge, Samuel Purvience Ireland was not related to James W. Ireland, but I have not done extensive research on it. They had different fathers at least. There may be a connection with the Lyon family, as one of James W. Ireland's sons married Catherine Lyon in 1860.
