Mr. Wright,

Thank you for your reply and the attached photo. I had never heard of Frances until seeing the headstone photo. I presume that she was a daughter from Mr. Mears' first marriage. I know very little about him before (or even after) he married my GrGrGr Grandmother. I don't know the name of the hotel that he ran, either.

I'm grateful to know Mr. Mears first and middle initials now. It will give me some additional means of researching him, and (hopefully) I will eventually learn when he and my GrGrGr Grandmother died and where they were buried.

If you or anyone else find more references to either of them, I would appreciate hearing about it.
