Welcome to the Mahaska County IAGenWeb genealogy site!  My name is Susie Keller-McCain and I am the coordinator for Mahaska county. My family settled in Mahaska County in 1845, originally residing in Jefferson Township by the Des Moines River near the the site of the Old Eveland Bridge. In early 2024, I became a member of the Mahaska County Pioneer Cemetery Restoration Commission, and am currently serving as its secretary.
