Mount Ayr honors 2014 graduates
Fifty students graduated from Mount Ayr Community high school Sunday, May 18. In heart-felt speeches, both
salutatorian Leah Klejch and valedictorian Allison Wallace spoke of memories of their classmates and of letting go
of differences as they leave high school and enter the world not separate but together as the future. Klejch mentioned
that though not everyone was the best of friends during school, they accomplished a great feat together as a class. She
also thanked friends, family and faculty for helping the class achieve their goals. Wallace talked about everyone being
different, reminding them that they are the future. While not everyone will be a doctor, lawyer or businessman, she said,
everyone will find their place, and she hopes that everyone succeeds in their pursuits.
