The Correction Corrected.
In the complete list of graduates, published in the Record-News December 30, I wish to make a few corrections.
In 1884 Prof. Eastman was superintendent of the Mount Ayr schools and had one graduate, Lora Laughlin-Richardson.
In 1885 John Richardson was superintendent. No graduates. In 1886 he graduated a class of six pupils. Richardson was
superintendent two years, 1885-1886. I graduated the classes of 1887, 1888, 1889, 1890, 1891, 1892, 1893, 1894, 1895. J.
Smith was superintendent 1896, one year only. In 1908 Superintendent Pierce died in April and I finished the school
year and graduated the class of 1908. I was superintendent of the Mount Ayr schools nine years and graduated ten
classes. Please change your records. Respectfully,
