Work continuting on MAC elementary project
Interior walls continue to riase as block layers build sections of the Mount Ayr Community elementary school addition this
week. Wells for the ground water heat pump system are also being connected and buried around the school site as progress continues.
The interior of the building has new painting and new carpet being laid to replace that which was damaged by the flooding
last spring. Work is continuing on the remodeling of rooms in the elementary building that adjoins the new construction
to have them ready for the opening of school. The rest of the addition is not expected to be available until late December
or early January.
