TEACHING EXCELLENCE AWARDS
Dekko Award for Teaching Excellence was presented to two Ringgold county teachers at ceremonies this past week. The
Dekko Foundation awards $1,000 to be used in a classroom or for the school district to teachers nominated by graduating
seniors as worthy of the award.
Mount Ayr Community high school band instructor Greg STORHOFF, nominated by senior Landi McFARLAND, won the award for
Mount Ayr Community high school.
Diagonal Community third grade teacher Sue MOBLEY, nominated by senior Abby STEPHENS, won the award for the Diagonal
school district.
