64 eighth graders promoted in middle school ceremony
Top 10 academic middle school students include:

Ten students were named as having the top 10 academic records, 64 eighth grade students were promoted and awards for a number
of activities were given when the Mount Ayr Community middle school awards day was held Friday. Among special awards
were those for perfect attendance. Receiving perfect attendance were Brittni GILLESPIE, Jeffrey RISSER, Johanna SCOTT, David
SHOWALTER and Matthew SOBOTKA. Student in the eighth grade class receiving certificates of promotion included:

After the awards were presented, Matt PATTON and John LARSEN passed out the certificates of promotion.
