Twenty-eight members of the class of 1932 of the Mount Ayr high school enjoyed a reunion July 15 at the Mount Ayr Country Club. Three teachers who shared the occasion were Mrs. Floy BLISS, Harry G. KNAPP and Vera F. DICKENS.

Members of the class present were Theda Allyn CRISWELL, Annabelle ALLYN CARTER, Esther SAVILLE PARKER, Margaret and Lucille THOMPSON BENSON, Alice GLENDENNING MILLER, Allan ALLYN, Clyta DRAKE HIGHTSHOE, Helen DUGAN MERCER, Ted KNIGHT, Aubrey KIRKPATRICK, Elmo ROE, John McFARLAND, Ilene HUTCHINSON WILSON, Marian TOMPKINS CRONIN, Ila SUTHERLAND SAVILLE, Ruth GILLILAND SWIGART, Evelyn JACKSON JAMES, Russell OLNEY, Roy PAYNE, Jim SMITH, Archie PALMER, Donald THOMAS and Eugene MOSIER.

The Mount Ayr Highs School class of 1932 enjoyed a 55th year reunion Saturday, May 23, at the Mount Ayr First Christian Church.

Arrangements were made by a committee of Mrs. Weldon SWIGART, Mrs. Hugh MILLER and Mrs. Barton ABARR.

After a buffet dinner, a program included reminiscenes by the 26 class members present, a report on class members absent or deceased, and plans for a 60 year reunion, the officers for which will be Mrs. Wayne BENSON, Mrs. Wayne ANDERSON and Mrs. Lawrence SWANK.

Those present included Ruth GILLILAND SWIGART and husband Weldon, and Helen VANCE ANDERSON and husband Wayne of Creston; Ila SUTHERLAND SAVILLE of Bedford; Esther SAVILLE PARKER and husband Frank of Shannon City, Mr. and Mrs. Russell OLENY of Des Moines; Ilene HUTCHINSON WILSON of Marshalltown; Marian TOMPKINS OLNEY and husband Fred of Deming, New Mexico; Mrs. Cyrena Belle JACKSON DINSMORE of Houston, Texas; Mr. and Mrs. Ted KNIGHT of Randolph; Velda GRAY ARNOLD of Hot Springs, Ark.; Blondena SALTZMAN of Portland, Oregon; Wilma GREENMAN SWANK of Kellerton; Alice GLENDENNING MILLER of Blockton; Jim and Georgia SMITH, Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey KIRKPATRICK, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene MOSIER, Arleta COOK, Leona COOK POTTORFF, Margaret HARDEN FLETCHALL and husband Lee, and Lucile THOMPSON BENSON, all of Mount Ayr.

Also: Lloyd REYNARD of Creston; Clyta DRAKE THOMPSON and husband Victor, Ora WALTER RICE, Helen DUGAN MERCER and husband Edwin, Mr. and Mrs. Elmo ROE and Mr. and Mrs. John McFARLAND.

A reading, "High School Reunion", read by Marian OLNEY, was also enjoyed. Class and group pictures were taken.
