MAC Raiders in football playoffs
Mount Ayr Community's Raider football team picked up their sixth football playoff trophy when they participated in the state
Class 1A football playoffs last Wednesday night in Pleasantville. Top photograph above: Students from elementary, junior
high and senior high schools joined in the high school gymnasium for a pep rally sending the football players on their
way to Pleasantville, where they were eliminated from the playoffs by a 23-6 score. Bottom photograph, above: Seniors
from the team raise the participation trophy that the Raiders received for qualifying as one of the 16 teams in the state
for the football playoffs in their class.
