REDDING will be among six players from across the state taking part in the tournament as individuals. Other individuals
will play from Glabrook-Reinbeck, Sheldon, Sibley-Ocheydan and Durant. "Spectators are welcome to follow along and
support the players at the state tournament," coach Scott GILES noted. At the regional tournament in State Center,
the Mid-Prairie of Wellman team shot a 304 to take first and Albia had a 305 to place second and advance as a team
as well. Third trip to state for ReddingThis is REDDING'S third trip to the state golf
tournament as a Raider. As a freshman, he went to the state tournament with the Raider golf team which placed second as
a team when REDDING'S older brother, T. J. REDDING took the state title, the only MACHS golfer to do so. REDDING tied
for 14th as an individual that year. As a sophomore, REDDING fell one stroke short of advancing to the state tournament
as an individual. At the 2004 state golf tournament, REDDING went to state and tied for sixth as an individual. He had
the third best total of any underclassmen at that meet.
