To be inducted into National Honor Society
The faculty of Mount Ayr Community High School have announced the newest inductees of the Parnassas Chapter of the National Honor Society: Kyle Dolecheck, Haylea England, Sadie Frost, Beanne Haley Mitchell Jennett, Macy Larsen, Megan Reasoner, Ashton Sheil, Kelcie Sheilds, Tessa Shields and Megan Warin.The honorees will be officially inducted in the presence of the entire Mount Ayr Community Middle/High School student body on November 25 at 9 a.m. in the high school auditorium. NHS alumni member and 2012 MACS graduate Alex Sobotka will be the guest speaker. Sobotka is a senior at Iowa State University. In order to be considered for membership in the National Honor Society students must maintain a 3.6 cumulative GPA, exhibit exemplary character and leadership ability, and provide noteworthy service to the school and community.
