Raiders place second at POI
The Pride of Iowa Conference meet was held in Afton on May 1. The Raiders came out with a second place finish behind Pleasantville.

"I thought we competed very well with several athletes putting down season best performances," said coach Brad Elliott, "We had some adversity in the meet and the kids kept pulling together. Pleasantville has a very talented team this year, when you put down your best work and still get beat there is nothing to be disappointed in. We thought our guys did an outstanding job." The Raiders place first in the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:33.75. Running in the 4x400 was Hunter Haveman, Hunter Arends, Cal Daughton and Mitchell Jennett. The Raider sprint medley relay took first with a time of 1:38.85 and included Will Young, John Young, Hunter Arends and Hunter Haveman.
