Newly inducted members of the National honor Society at Mount Ayr Community High School are:

(front row, L-R) Eian Adams, son of Charles and Donnel Adams; Mercadez Birkenholz, daughter of Mick and Robin Birkenholz of Mount Ayr; Caylie Hickman, daughter of Doug and Suzan Hickman of Mount Ayr; Will Hunt, son of Lynnette Knight and George Hunt; Alyssa Johnson, daughter of Jim Johnson and Marci Bjustrom; Abbey Schafer, daughter of Ron Schafer and Liz Schafer of Mount Ayr; Junior "John" Young, son of Sally and John Young; and William Young, son of Sally and John Young.

Current NHS members who organized the induction ceremony include:

(back row, L-R) Hayle England, Ashton Sheil, Megan Reasoner, Megan Warin, Breanne Haley, Tessa Shields, Macy Larsen, Sadie Frost and Mitchell Jennett.

MACHS alum and NHS member Maggie Jennett (Class of 2013) provided the keynote address. The introduction of each new member can be found on page 16 in today's Record-News.

National Honor Society members take part in the candle lighting ceremony during the induction of new members Wednesday, November 23 at Mount Ayr High School. Members in teh Ceremony include (L-R) Ashton Sheil, Macy Larsen, Sadie Frost, Megan Warin and Haylea England.
