Five athletes from Mount Ayr were chosen for the KAAN All-Stars team. Tess Shields, Megan Warin, Kelcis Shields, Nick Wurster and Rhett Murphy were chosen. Rhett was unable to attend the banquet and the girls basketball coach, Thad Streit, was named the Southwest Iowa girls' Coach of the Year.
