Main Street, Kellerton, Iowa, circa mid-1950's

This photograph was taken in front of the Kellerton Band Stand on Main Street, the band stand being located where the old school house [formerly the Foland County School from N.E. of Grand River, Decatur County - then the bank room for the High School in Kellerton] is now sitting. Terry Baker is the little kid far right sitting alone (glasses on). In front of him is Mrs. Harold Akers, Carol (Ethington) Reed with the white blouse and white purse, the adult to her right is Helen Reed, the next adult is Mrs. Mosier, across the aisle is Mrs. Ethington, next to her is Naomi Huss, to the right of Terry, two adults away is Patti Barnes, then Wilma Hightshoe, others in the crowd and too difficult to direct are Barbara Jean (Teale) Brimmer, Evelyn Sissel, Mrs. Teale, Mrs. Bear, back against the building left to right is Mr. Teale (school janitor), Harold Akers, my mother Helen Bacon Baker, others in the standing crowd are Ivan Rainey, Harold Harvey, one of the Bear girls…
