Homecoming this weekend for Grand ValleyHomecoming will be held this weekend at Grand Valley Community high school, with events planned tonight (Thursday), Friday
and Saturday nights as part of the celebration.
The weekend begins tonight with a soup supper sponsored by the Senior
Class beginning at 5 p.m. at the high school in Kellerton. A pep rally will follow at 7:30 p.m.
The traditional
homecoming basketball games will be held Friday night in Kellerton. Fox Valley will be the foe for both the boys and
girls squads in Southern Empire Conference action.
Saturday night the homecoming dance will be held at the gymnasium in Grand
River from 8 to 11 p.m. with music by the D. J. Sound.
Another homecoming tradition will be the crowning of a king
and queen to reign over homecoming. The royalty will be chosen from this group of candidates.
Queen candidates include,
