Waske wins title in state pedal tractor pull

Ella Waske, four-year-old daughter of Julie and Justin NEAS of Kelleton and Josh WASKE of Mount Ayr, was crowned the Iowa
state pedal tractor pull champion in the state competition held in Marshalltown over the weekend. WASKE was able to take
the state title in the division for four-year-old girls, beating out Molly RUSSELL of Oskaloosa for the title. WASKE
wins title in state pedal tractor pull With the state title, she will advance to the national pedal tractor pull
competition to be held at the Corn Palace in Mitchellville, SD, Saturday, Sept. 22. Also participating from Ringgold
county were Jillian KNAPP and Jacob NOVAK. Over 9,000 girls and boys participated from 180 sanctioned pedal pulls from
across Iowa.

Fifth at nationals
Ella WASKE, daughter of Josh WASKE of Mount Ayr and Julie NEAS of Kellerton, placed fifth in the National Pedal Pull
held recently at the Corn Palace in Mitchell, South Dakota. She now qualifies to compete in the International
Pedal Pull to be held next year.
