UNDERTAKER CONVENTION
A convention of undertakers of southern Iowa and northern Missouri was held at the undertaking parlors of F. S. STEWART
in this city [Leon], Monday, at which Prof. A. B. SERAN, of Chicago, made a fine demonstration of demi-surgery.
Acceptances had been received from a large number of undertakers, and it was expected there would be in the neighborhood
of one hundred and fifty in attendance, but the heavy rains prevented their attendance, as most of them had planned on
driving to this city. Those who attended enjoyed a very interesting and instructive meeting. Those in attendance
[from Ringgold County] were: Howard GLEASON, Kellerton; Ivan CREW, Kellerton.
