Myer wins writing award
Tess MYER, a ninth grade student of Mount Ayr Community high school, was congratulated by state senator Jeff ANGELO of
Creston and state representative Cecil DOLECHECK of Mount Ayr at the state capitol last week for her winning entry
in the writing women back into history project. MYER placed second in the eighth and ninth grade science and engineering
division of the writing contest. Shown above, from left, are Senator Jeff ANGELO, MYER'S teacher Fay HOWIE, Tess
