Free Delivery Arranged in Ringgold and Decatur Counties

Washington, May 1 - (Special.) - Rural free delivery routes have been ordered and established in Iowa, July 1, as follows:

Beaconsfield, Ringgold county: length of route, 24 miles, area covered, 24 square miles, population served, 141.

Benton, Ringgold county: length of route, 24 miles, area covered, 24 square miles, population served, 445.

Grand River, Decatur county: two routes, length of route, 47 square miles, population served, 858.

Postoffice at Westerville [Decatur County] to be discontinued.

Lamoni, Decatur county: two routes, length of route, 49 miles, area covered, 42 square miles, population served, 966.

Postoffices at Lee, Ia., and Claud, Mo., to be supplied by rural carriers.

Leon, Decatur county: length of route, 22 miles, area covered, 24 square miles, population served, 479.

Mt Ayr, Ringgold county: two routes, length of route, 50 miles, area covered, 54 square miles, population served, 806.

Postoffice at Watterson [Ringgold county] to be supplied by rural carrier.

Osceola, Clarke county: length of route, 24 miles, area covered, 24 square miles, population served, 454.

Redding, Ringgold county: length of route, 25 miles, area covered, 24 square miles, population served, 437.

Weldon, Decatur county: length of route, 25 miles, area covered, 27 square miles, population served, 482.

Postoffice at Smyrna to be discontinued.

Woodburn, Clarke county: length of route, 25 miles, area covered, 19 square miles, population served, 399.
