LAWHEAD TO LEAD SINGERS
Dr. Collus LAWHEAD, local dentist, will direct the Ringgold Singers and choral club members this year as
they prepare for a spring concert. Dr. LAWHEAD has participiated in many vocal and instrumental music
activities during his years at Mount Ayr Community high school where he graduated in 1966 and at the University
of Iowa, Iowa City. Among the special vocal accomplishments involving Dr. LAWHEAD were the singing of the lead
in the high school presentation of Carousel and singing with the Old Gold Singers at Iowa University.
Accompanying the group will be Mike GREENE, assistant manager at Anthony's. Both are new in these capacities.
The Ringgold Singers and Choral Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10 in the Mount Ayr public library basement to begin
rehearsal for the concert.
