The Times-Tribune
Grant City, Worth County, Missouri
May 29, 1957

Publication of Redding Herald Ended:
Subscription List to Times-Tribune

The Redding Herald has ceased publication with the acquiring of the Herald's subscription list Monday by The Times-Tribune. Ralph MAIN, Redding Herald publisher and editor, made arrangements with The Times-Tribune to take over the subscription list.

Starting this week, The Times-Tribune will be mailed to all subscribers of the Redding Herald until their subscriptions expire. Persons now subscribing to the Redding Herald who are also subscribers of The Times-Tribune will have their subscriptions to The Times-Tribune extended to cover the period due from the Herald.

Mr. and Mrs. MAIN will act as correspondents for The Times-Tribune at Redding. People of the Redding community may renew their subscriptions or subscribe to The Times-Tribune at the Herald office at the regular rates, $2.00 per year in Worth and adjoining counties and $2.50 per year to all other points. Mr. MAIN will also accept classified ads and display advertisements for The Times-Tribune at advertising rates as shown on page 2.

Mr. MAIN, 74-years-old, has been editor and publisher of the Redding Herald since 1914 when he bought the paper from C. G. CRAIG. Prior to buying the paper, Mr. MAIN had been ill for four years and had to give up farming. He will continue to keep his office open at Redding.
