vs.
Jesse RAMSEY, Defendant. In the District Court of the State of Iowa In and for Ringgold County,
September Term, A. D., 1888
To Jesse RAMSEY:
You are hereby advised that on or before the first day of July, A.D., 1888, the petition of Plaintiff, in the above
entitled cause will be filed in the office of the Clerk of the District Court of the State of Iowa, in and for Ringgold
county, claiming of you a divorce and praying that she be divorced from you and that the bond of matrimony existing between
you and her [the plaintiff] be dissolved on the grounds of desertion, and abandonment. For further particulars see
petition on file. And that unless you appear thereto and defend before noon of the second day of the September
term, A.D. 1888, of the said Court, which will commence on the third day of September, A. D., 1888, default will be entered
