Antique plow days held
Time turned back 50 years on Sunday, Oct. 30, at the Bob ANDREWS farm north of Benton -- beating the Daylight Savings
Time fall back the next weekend. The Waubonsie Tractor Club met for coffee and rolls and fellowship at The ANDREWS
farm, then hooked old plows to their antique tractors and spent the day plowing about 20 acres of ground. The men
took a break for a lunch of chili soup prepared by Phyllis, Becky and Nora ANDREWS and a pot of stew prepared by
Elvin SWANK. The tractor club meets again Saturday, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m. at the Waubonsie Center in Benton following
the biscuit and gravy supper. New members are always welcome.
