Pierschbacher tops state bronc riding
Weston PIERSCHBACHER, a junior at Mount Ayr Community high school, has had a successful fall rodeo season on the Iowa
High School Rodeo circuit. In the state standings, he ranked 12th overall. He was first in the saddle bronc riding,
sixth in team roping, seventh in steer wrestling and 23rd in calf roping. At the rodeo in Moville, he placed first
in team roping. At the rodeo in Larchwood, he picked up a seventh place and a ninth place in team roping. In the
rodeo in Osceola, he placed first in saddle bronc riding. In the rodeo at Manchester, he placed third overall with
a second in team roping, a fourth in team roping, a fifth in steer wrestling and a ninth in calf roping. PIERSCHBACHER is
the son of Curtis and Sandy PIERSCHBACHER of Tingley.
