PATELS RETIRING AFTER 35 YEARS of PRACTICE
Dr. Natu PATEL, MD and Dr. Hansa PATEL, MD of Bethany, MO and formerly of Mount Ayr, are retiring after 35 years of
practice in family medicine. The husband and wife physician team practices in Ringgold County Hospital in Mount
Ayr from 1979 to 1983, before moving to Bethany to open the Bethany Medical Clinic. Dr. Natu PATEL began his practice as
a board certified general surgeon in India and Great Britain. Dr. Hansa PATEL received diplomate status in obstetrics and
gynecology while training in India. She also trained in England in pediatrics and anesthesia. The couple plans to
move to the Chicago, IL area upon retirement. Their two children, Neha and Chirag, are both physicians. Neha practices
in Denver, CO, and Chirag in Chicago, IL.
