Groundbreaking ceremonies for the new Page County State Bank building being constructed on the old Romano's Pizza site on Highway 2 in Mount Ayr were held last week. The building is scheduled to open in the spring of 2015, when the bank will move from their current location on the square.

Mount Ayr banking landscape changing

The face of bank buildings in Mount Ayr is changing as PCSB Bank is proceeding with their construction of a new building along Hway. 2. Currently PCSB is located in a downtown location.
