L. C. LAY CELEBRATES NINETY-FIRST BIRTHDAY
March 26 [1933], the ninety-first birthday of L. C. [Luther Caleb] LAY, who is making his home with Mr. and Mrs. Grant
DENHART of Mount Ayr, was the occasion of a delightful gathering which was joined in by numerous relatives and friends.
Despite his years Mr. LAY was able to join in the bountiful dinner prepared by Mrs. DENHART and the general good time
enjoyed by all. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Eric ANDERSON and daughters, Jane and Helen, Mr. and Mrs. Homer
LAY and sons, Clark and Wilbert, Lee and Joe LAY, Mrs. Sarah PRATT, Mrs. Joe MILLER, Mr. and Mrs. Hallard
MENDENHALL and children, Velnetta, Lois Dean and Elvis, L. C. LAY, Mr. and Mrs. Grant DENHART.
